Nikon Nikkor Z 40 mm f/2.0

9. Ghosting and flares

Because of its simple optical construction (just 4 groups of elements so only 8 air-to-glass surfaces) and a small size of the front element we didn't expect any problems with the performance against bright light. Indeed, the Nikkor Z 40 mm f/2 manages to perform against bright light quite well, with few visible light artifacts which aren't especially intensive anyway.
