When you take photos near the maximum relative aperture you can't complain about the performance against bright light almost at all. You can catch some light artifacts but only when you stop down the aperture significantly and put the sun near one of frame corners. Even then the number of flares and ghosting won't be high. Overall the performance of the Tamron 2.8/24 in this category should only be praised.
