Fast zoom lenses with very wide angles of view always are difficult to design in such a way so they perform well against bright light. What's interesting, in case of the Tamron it worked out somehow.
At the maximum relative aperture, no matter what focal length you apply, the performance is really good, with a limited number of light artifacts and their low intensity. Problems increase with stopping down of the aperture and lengthening of focal length but you can speak about medium level at worst.
At the same time it's worth noticing here that the tested lens doesn't show any distinct contrast loss across the frame – a round of applause.
