9. Vignetting

First, let's check vignetting levels on the smaller APS-C sensor – appropriate thumbnails are shown below.

Even at the maximum relative aperture, vignetting is not especially bothersome, reaching a value of 27% (-0.89 EV). The problem disappears completely by f/2.0 where we got a result of just 8% (-0.25 EV).

After switching to the bigger, full frame sensor, there are far more problems and the photos below show them pretty well.

At the maximum relative aperture, the lens's result is high, reaching 59% (−2.59 EV). It is a result very similar to the one of the Nikkor (58%) and both these lenses fare better than the rest of the rivals as their results exceed 60%.

By f/2.0 aperture, you deal with a level of 33% (-1.15 EV), that decreases to a value of 28% (-0.97 EV) on stopping down the aperture to f/2.8. What's interesting further stopping down doesn't have any measurable influence on this aberration.
