Sirui entered the photographic optics market in 2019, and its debut was quite unusual, as it involved the launch of anamorphic lenses. It wasn't until a few years later, in 2023, that we saw the release of classic lenses from the Sniper series, which were designed to work with APS-C mirrorless cameras.

The next step seemed natural, so entering the full-frame optics segment was only a matter of time. This happened in 2024–2025, with the release of two f/1.4 instruments from the Aurora series. The first had a focal length of 85 mm, and the second was 35 mm. We have already tested the latter; today we will focus on the former. This was made possible thanks to the Beafoto store, which recently became the official distributor of Sirui products in Poland and provided us with the lens for testing.

It is also worth noting that Sirui did not rest on its laurels and, at the IBC trade show held in Amsterdam in September 2026, announced the expansion of the Aurora line with 1.6/15 and 1.4/24 models. Additionally, another lens line named Swift is set to appear, featuring 2.4/20 and 2.2/40 specifications.
