1. Introduction

During the CP+fair at the turn of February and March 2025 we saw the ultra wide angle zoom 14-24 mm lens with a very good f/2.8 aperture. It was undoubtedly one of the most interesting announcements. It was a result of cooperation between the Korean Samyang and the German Schneider-Kreuznach company.

A pre-production specimen of this lens was available on the fair so we were able to share our first impressions and sample photos with our Readers.

The official launch of the Samyang AF 14-24 mm f/2.8 FE took place on 22nd of April 2025 and soon afterwards this instrument found its way to our editorial office – all courtesy of Focus Nordic, the official distributor of Samyang products for Poland. It's time we share our opinion about this new, interesting instrument with the Readers of Optyczne.pl and LensTip.com – the details are presented in the following chapters.
