Samyang AF 35 mm f/1.4 FE

30 March 2018
Arkadiusz Olech

9. Ghosting and flares

It would be difficult to praise the tested Samyang’s performance against bright light. It is very easy to catch light artefacts with the sun inside the frame. When you move the sun close to the corner or a bit outside, you might get a huge white overexposure area which can destroy your photo. Additionally, you can catch weaker flares and ghosting even if the source of bright light is positioned far away from the corners of the frame.
