When it comes to the performance against bright light, the Viltrox doesn't give you any reasons to complain near the maximum relative aperture. Some slight problems can be noticed, but only when the sun is positioned a bit outside a frame corner.
All changes are noticeable when you close the aperture down more decisively. Light artifacts can be caught practically regardless of what position of the source of light you employ. When the sun is inside the frame, you also get greenish flares of medium intensity. When you move it a bit outside the frame, there are even more problems – your photo might feature significant overexposed areas and greenish spots. What's worse, these effects can be observed even when the sun is situated relatively far from the frame.
It seems in this category the Viltrox should do their homework once again, especially since its direct rivals perform better here.
